What a Homecoming Night for the Ravens! 🖤💜

The Ravens took on Rancho Verde tonight for Homecoming and made history! After falling behind 14-0 in the first half, the Ravens ran a fake punt to keep a key drive alive and closed the gap to 14-7 by halftime.

Coming out strong in the second half, the offense marched down the field to tie it up 14-14. The defense locked in, shutting down Rancho on multiple drives. The offense kept the momentum rolling, taking the lead 21-14. A huge defensive fumble recovery set up another quick score to make it 28-14, and minutes later the Ravens added one more touchdown to go up 35-14!

Rancho got a late score, but it wasn’t enough — your Ravens came out on top 35-20, marking the first time in school history the Ravens have beaten the Mustangs!

After a tough week last week, our Lady Ravens bounced back in a big way yesterday with a 36-0 victory! 💪🏈

⭐ Defense set the tone early:
• Kalayna Bui picked off the first drive and returned it to the 1-yard line, setting up a quick score.
• Senior Leeanna Gonzalez snagged an interception of her own and also added a rushing touchdown.
• Sophomore rushers Ayde Rodriguez and Jeannette Pedroza dominated in the backfield with multiple tackles for loss and a safety.

🔥 Offense on fire:
• Senior Linda Giron led the way with 1 passing TD and 2 receiving TDs.
• Samiah Humphrey hauled in a receiving touchdown.
• Freshman QB Harmony Fuller showed her versatility, throwing for 2 TDs and running for another.

What a Thursday night showdown between cross-town rivals Vista Del Lago and Valley View! 🏈

The Eagles struck first with a short field goal, but the Ravens quickly answered with a rushing touchdown just minutes later. After halftime, the Eagles put together a strong drive to take a 10-7 lead heading into the 4th quarter.

The Ravens refused to back down—lighting up the scoreboard when their slot receiver turned an out route up the sideline and outran the defense for a huge touchdown! 🔥

The defense was the story of the night for the Ravens, coming up with big red zone stops, sacks, tackles for loss, and a clutch interception late in the game to shut down an Eagles scoring chance.

With 2:24 left, the Ravens sealed the victory by running out the clock after an Eagles penalty on 4th-and-11 gave them a first down. 🖤💜

Yesterday, we wrapped up the Boys Golf League Finals with some great results!
Devon secured 2nd place 🥈 and will advance to the CIF Individual Tournament on May 12 ⛳️.
